How to deep clean your washing machine

Most people are using their washing machines at the very least one time a week. If you have a bigger family and kids, you will be using it a lot more than that!
However, how many times do you clean your washing machine? Have you ever cleaned your washing machine?
When empty, if you take a good look around the drum area and especially the rubber under the edges where the door is sealed closed, you will be disgusted with the amount of dirt and muck you will find there.
“You are a filthy human!”
So now you know that you are a filthy human and really need to take more care of your washing machine, how do you go about it?

Well, the answer is very simple. You can get down on your hands and knees and clean it all out by hand, or you can just take two dishwasher tablets, place them in your empty washing machine (do not do it with clothes in!) and put it on a standard wash.
Leave the washing cycle to fully complete and now take a good look at your gleaming, like new washing machine!

You can do this every few months to keep it fresh and clean and stops all the dirt and fluff from building up.
Try it out and give us some feedback in the comments section on how you have got on doing this, or even better, post some photos of your dirty washing machine!
